Lots of great new features and improvements in this release! Below are a few key highlights.
Signature Support
Your Session Plans can now have digital “wet” signatures associated to them. Furthermore, not only can the Observee and Observer sign these Session Plans, but others in your team (e.g. Clinic Director, or Parents) can sign them too, if required.
And if you want an offline copy of these Session Plans, your can generate PDFs that will include these signatures as well!
Expanded Skill Types
Our default recommendation for teams is to use our “Multi-trial Binary Prompt” Skill type for taking data on Skills. This Skill type automatically translates the number of successes (with or without prompt) into a percentage score, so your supervisors don’t have to mentally calculate scores, nor refer to a legend to understand what each value stands for.
However, we also understand that when transitioning to Behaview, it may be easier to see a more familiar interface for taking data. This can also be useful for others who review the results, but may not directly use Behaview. As as result, we have added two new Skill types:
Scales as Buttons
If you want the option of using a 1-5 scale, or have a small set of options, you can use this Skill type to quickly capture such data. It requires more time to setup the associated scoring of each label, but once setup, it’ll be intuitive and fast for others to take data with.
Scales as Lists
If you have an extensive set of options, or the options’ wordings are rather long, this Skill type may be better suited for you.
More Customization Options
Despite BACB fieldwork supervisions and staff overlaps having lots of similarity, their differences can have productivity implications for you. For example, BACB requires fieldwork supervisions to document whether it was Restricted or Unrestricted, Client was observed or not, etc. You need these fields for fieldwork sessions. However, for regular Behaviour Therapist and RBT overlaps or parental training, these fields will simply be noise in the UI. On top of that, you may have your own fields and supervision types you want to capture in Behaview. So what’s the solution?
We have introduced Session Plan types to address this. Types allow you to customize the experience of the underlying Session Plan. You can rename labels, change fields that are visible and required, while maintaining full oversight of all Session Plans.
No more need to compromise, or teaching your team to ignore fields that don’t apply to them. You can have an optimal experience, regardless of the sort of training and supervision you are doing!
Until Next Time
Writing these updates fills us with a ton of excitement. It only makes us more eager to build even more awesome features for you! If you have any questions or feedback, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We love hearing from you!
